Once again, what a great initiative from Clinck Records to reissue those two jazz-funk-psych-pop beauties. As “Today” was sampled by Pete Rock & CL Smooth, you will recognize its unique sax riff instantly. “Blues for Hari” is an uptempo jazz-funk pursuit with superb sax, vibes and driving drums by Jim Gordon. Oh, and Carol Kaye also plays bass on this. Simply magnificent!
