The Voltage LP ‎– R&B Big Hits Album (1996)

Garage punk bands were also part of sixties Japan and although most of them did covers of well-known classics, few of them had their own particular sound and feel when interpreting American soul and r&b big hits. The Voltage had it, a raw feel and singing style coupled with basic and heavy sound, that’s what garage is about. They didn’t play very well but they still did, no matter what!

Here’s a long out-of-print late nineties issue of their first 1968 LP, the original being invisible, you might as well opt for this clean copy.
