Checking Audio By Music LP – Various Artists (1974)

Another very interesting record of the Nezumi catalogue. This one means to test your audio sound system through a variety of procedures. In order to do so, the album features a 28-page book the size of the LP with technical diagrams, studio pictures, equipment required, the works!

Of course the record contains some ill versions of Ironside and Shaft performed by top session musicians including Akira Ishikawa on drums, M. Terakawa on bass, Kentaro Haneda (Cobra, Macross, Yamato…) on piano and more. A recording arranged and conducted by Kouichi Sugiyama (Gatchaman, Ideon, Dragon Quest…).
